What can the caravan be used for?
We built our caravan to suit a variety of event needs. It is the perfect mobile bar for weddings, corporate events, pop ups, outdoor festivals, private parties and more. It is also ideal for businesses looking to create a unique and engaging experience or activation. Or can be used to sell products at festivals or showcase wares at markets.
What are the caravan dimensions?
It is 9 ft tall, 8 ft wide and 15 ft long (including hitch).
Where can we host a party?
We can pop-up anywhere, anytime! However, for bookings in a venue other than a private property, clients are responsible for providing confirmations, permission or permits.
Do you offer alcohol packages?
No, we do not sell alcohol. All alcohol and beverages are to be provided by the event organizer, venue, catering company or third party supplier. All of our events operate on a BYO basis.
How much does it cost to rent the trailer?
The Cliveden rental fee is $2000 for a 6 hour event rental period, or $2500 for up to 10 hours.
What is included the rental fee?
Delivery and setup, an on-board generator for electricity, minimal decor and pick up. Glassware, food, beverage and service (bartender, catering attendant, etc) is not included.
Are travel fees included?
For events based within Chicago there are no additional fees. Travel outside of Chicago will incur a fuel surcharge fee based on distance.
How do we book and lock in our date?
You can email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) or click on the "BOOK YOUR RENTAL" link. Tell us about your event and we'll take it from there! A 50% deposit is required to secure your event date, the remaining balance is due 30 days before the event. If you are booking within 30 days of your event, payment in full is required to secure your date.
How much time do you need for set up and break down?
Our staff requires about 1 hour before the event for set up, and one hour after the event ends for break down. this is not deducted from your rental time.
Our event is in the middle of the forest with no access to an electrical outlet, is that an issue?
No problem! We have a built in generator that can provide up to 24 hours of power for your event.
Can we place our monogram or company logo on the trailer?
Yes! We will work with you to create a vinyl adhesive to place on the trailer for your event. Additional fees apply.
We are in need of other event rentals and decor, do you have any recommendations?
Northern Caravan Company is owned by Northern Decor, an event decor company based here in Chicago. We would love to talk to you about event furnishings and additional decor options for your event!
We want to host a pop up shop using the caravan. What permit do we need?
his depends on where your pop up event will be held. Clients are responsible for securing any needed permits for use of public space.
Can we rent the caravan for longer than a day?
Yes, just email us to discuss your needs and we will follow up with a quote.
What is your cancellation and refund policy
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Balance due 30 days before event date. If event date is being held within 30 days of booking, full payment is required to secure your rental. We do no provide refunds in case of bad weather. In the event of rain, it is the responsibility of the host to make alternative arrangements.
